The announcement in the Telegraph & Argus of feasibility studies to improve transport links both by road and rail to Leeds-Bradford Airport will make encouraging reading for businesses in the two Cities. Clearly, there will be a lot of consultations and other hurdles to overcome, and expansion of the Airport needs to balance the needs of a business with environmental concerns of nearby residents.
Congestion through the main road A658 in Yeadon can be a problem at peak times and, of course, the Airport has grown substantially larger than originally envisaged. A by-pass, if correctly thought through, would alleviate that and the idea of a new rail link on the Leeds-Harrogate line will hopefully take some travellers off the road and onto rail instead.
The Airport is a great asset to some businesses, especially those that have international connections.
We at Andrew Idle Associates are marketing offices premises to let in Gateway Drive, Yeadon in a Business Park setting on behalf of a Client of ours and these enjoy easy access to the Airport. We can offer floor space from 1,250 square feet up to around 3,000 square feet with good car parking ratios and within walking distance of the Town Centre.
